Marjana is a graduate of Texas Christian University (TCU) with Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Communication in Human Relations. She served as a Personnel Specialist for the City of Odessa, Texas prior to entering law school at South Texas College of Law in Houston. During law school, Marjana clerked for the management labor and employment firm of Neel, Hooper & Kalmans, P.C. She received her law degree from South Texas College of Law and was admitted to practice in Texas in November 1994.

Upon graduating from law school, Marjana initially practiced with a plaintiff’s civil rights firm prior to establishing her own firm. In private practice, she represented both management and employees in employment-related matters and litigation. Marjana left the practice of law in 1998 to enter the human resources consulting field. She served as Vice President of Organizational Development and Operations for Bashen Consulting. In addition to her executive position, Marjana conducted numerous workplace investigations for employers and consulted extensively regarding human resource issues.

In January 2003, Marjana founded Roach & Rowland, L.L.P. to serve employers in the niche areas of workplace investigations and training. Marjana and Alexia Gannon formed RoachGannon LLP in January 2008. Marjana has conducted hundreds of investigations over the past 10 years. The allegations investigated include discrimination, harassment, retaliation, unfair treatment and ethics matters.

Marjana is certified as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She is a member of the State Bar of Texas Labor & Employment Section, the Houston Bar Association, SHRM and HR Houston. Marjana serves on the Board of Directors for Houston's Ronald McDonald House. Alexia is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. She received her law degree from South Texas College of Law and was admitted to practice in December 1998. Alexia was an associate with Pope, Shoemake, Selwyn, Kerr & Hendershot, P.C. where she provided medical group clients with advice and counsel regarding business and corporate transactions, healthcare and employment law issues.

In 2000, she departed private practice to enter the human resources consulting field. She served as a Senior Consultant and Director of Operations for Bashen Consulting. In addition to conducting workplace investigations, Alexia trained and supervised six investigators and conducted fair employment practice surveys.

Alexia established Alexia V. Gannon, P.C. in 2003 to focus solely on providing advice and counsel to employers regarding compliance and employment law needs. In March 2006, Alexia joined her practice with Roach & Rowland, L.L.P. which served employers in the niche area of workplace investigations and training. In January 2008, Alexia and Marjana formed RoachGannon LLP.

In addition to conducting workplace investigations and providing employers with advice on employment-related matters, Alexia routinely develops and conducts customized training. She delivers on-going Anti-Harassment and Basic Employment Laws training programs to clients and provides training in a multitude of fair employment practice areas including such topics as: Respectful Workplace (Anti-Harassment & Non-Discrimination); Effective Performance Management; Delivering Effective Coaching, Counseling & Discipline; Tools for Effective Communication; Unconscious/Implicit Bias in the Workplace; and Conducting Effective Workplace Investigations. Further, Alexia has developed and regularly conducts specialized “remedial measures” training for employers to address specific management performance issues and/or policy violations.

Alexia is a Member of the State Bar of Texas Labor & Employment Section, the Houston Bar Association, and the Association of Workplace Investigators.

Kim is a graduate of Texas Christian University (TCU). He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with an English minor. He attended law school at Tulane University before returning home to Houston where he earned his law degree from the University of Houston School of Law. Kim is a Member of the State Bar of Texas and was admitted to practice law in 1992.


Kim served as General Counsel for the pioneering record label Rap-A-Lot Records and practiced law before transitioning to a human resources and labor relations role with Shell Chemical in 1997. After Shell Chemical, Kim worked as Director of Operations for Bashen Consulting where he conducted workplace investigations and supervised investigators.


In 1999 Kim joined Continental Airlines as Manager of Diversity & Fair Employment Practices, before being promoted to Director of Human Resources for the Corporate Division. In his Diversity & Fair Employment Practices role, Kim conducted complex investigations and managed investigations conducted by Continental's HR Generalists, Managers and Directors. He also developed and delivered Investigations, EEO and HR compliance training. In his role as Director of Human Resources, Kim provided expert guidance and strategic support to all levels of leadership on a broad range of domestic and international HR issues, which significantly contributed to Continental’s perennial status as a “Fortune Top 100 Company to Work for in America.”

Between 2006 and 2017, Kim served in HR leadership roles for Waste Management, Pentair, and Emerson. In these leadership roles, Kim partnered with other leaders, senior executives, and teams of all sizes to develop best practices and innovative solutions to accomplish breakthrough results. At Pentair, Kim served as the head of HR, L&D, Talent Acquisition and HR compliance for the Americas region (North America and Latin America).
